Ms. Abbott has a history of successfully leveraging strategy, innovation, and creativity across multiple industries. For over 20 years, she has forged transformational business initiatives that propelled revenue growth, brand exposure, and market expansion. She has managed custom brand campaigns spanning traditional direct mail and newspaper print, mass television and radio advertising, and digital multimedia promotions. In addition to building brands and sales, she has cultivated a unique management style that instills loyalty and drives productivity. Her versatility and knowledge in a variety of fields lend her the ability to strategize and execute effective B2B and B2C marketing approaches.
In her most recent role at Medicus Healthcare Solutions, Ms. Abbott was hired as the sole Marketing Director. She regularly collaborated with key executives, colleagues, and market resources to identify goals and develop winning strategies that achieved optimal results. After nurturing efforts and developing a strong team, she became the Vice President of Marketing & Communications. Through her leadership, the department produced thousands of effective B2B and B2C inbound and outbound marketing campaigns that returned nearly $200 million in revenue. In just five years, she grew to a department of ten and helped Medicus grow its market share to become the fifth-largest healthcare staffing firm in the country.
Before joining Medicus, Ms. Abbott was the Vice President for EVR Advertising, working in tandem with a creative team to guide the creative strategy and growth of the agency. She played an integral role in the development of integrated campaigns and rebranding efforts by sharing her expertise and talents to drive team collaboration, enhance client relationships, and deliver high-impact marketing solutions.
In her earlier role with the NHL’s LA Kings AHL’s affiliate, the Manchester Monarchs, Ms. Abbott grew from the Director of Community Relations to Senior Vice President. She successfully managed all the team’s marketing, events, community relations, public relations, office administration, game night arena services, and game presentation. After founding the Monarchs Care Foundation, she strategically developed and administered the Monarchs’ public presence and community involvement.
Ms. Abbott began her career as Community Relations and Marketing Manager for Bank of America, where she spearheaded initiatives that aligned with corporate and translated to local marketing efforts. Her accomplishments and impact included northeast wide outreach sponsorships and charitable giving that grew the corporate brand.
Throughout her career, she has received several honors, including two-time President’s Club winner, The Union Leader’s 40 Under Forty emerging leaders, the NH Business Review’s Outstanding Women in Business, and Leadership Manchester. She holds a BA in Marketing from the University of Massachusetts.
